Event Description

Due to ongoing restrictions at the university, this session will be held over Zoom (link to follow).

“How can I reconcile my introverted personality with a love of teaching?” “How can I structure my discussion section to engage with the more introverted students?” If you are interested in exploring these questions, join us for Quiet Teaching. In this workshop, we will define the introversion-extroversion spectrum, discuss how personality type influences the way we are perceived by others, and identify the strengths of each personality type. We will also discuss key findings that we can apply to the classroom to improve our teaching and the learning of all students. For questions, please contact sohan.vartak@yale.edu or amanda.vines@yale.edu.
