Event Description

Why do we grade? How can we grade fairly, but in a way that helps our students improve and makes them feel comfortable and supported? In this workshop, we’ll consider controversies regarding contemporary grading practices. We’ll discuss different kinds of assessment and grading methods that can help you create an inclusive classroom environment, such as contract grading, opt-in grading, and grading rubrics.
