Event Description
Do you wonder how you can better accommodate the diverse needs of all of your students? In this workshop, participants will learn about the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how to incorporate tenets of UDL into their classrooms. We will traverse and unpack the three components of UDL (multiple means of representation, multiple means of expression, and multiple means of engagement), empowering participants with concrete strategies to apply UDL to their own teaching. For more information, contact matthew.w.ellis@yale.edu and malena.rice@yale.edu. This ATW counts toward the Poorvu Center’s Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP) requirement for a “topic engaging inclusivity or diversity.
