Event Description

Have you ever wanted more feedback on if students are meeting your learning objectives? Do you wonder if your teaching methods are reaching students in the way you intended? Implementing polling technology and other forms of digital feedback in the classroom can quickly and easily deliver this crucial information to the instructor. This workshop will help you incorporate regular feedback in your course through technology, including polling technology, Zoom-integrated features, and others. Collecting feedback in this way aids student metacognition and provides information on the status of learning objectives for future lesson plan development. For additional information, please contact matthew.w.ellis@yale.edu and sara.misgen@yale.edu. This ATW counts toward the Poorvu Center’s Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP) requirement for a “topic engaging technology.”
