Event Description

Great slides don’t make a great talk. But used appropriately, thoughtfully designed slides can substantially enhance your presentation by keying your audience into your main conclusions. After surveying common pitfalls one can make while designing and integrating slides into a presentation, this workshop offers an array of skills, tips, and tricks for giving a polished and professional slideshow. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at and receive feedback on the skills covered. Intended Audience: This workshop is ideal for graduate and professional students at any stage in their studies.
