This workshop is designed to help TFs in History and Political Science build confidence in the classroom and develop practices of reflection about their teaching. We will discuss how to create an inclusive class environment, how to communicate expectations and develop learning goals, and how to use assessments and collect feedback. We will also devote some time to workshopping and problem-shooting participants’ own experiences in the classroom.
