Event Description 

Welcome to Yale! New courses, mentors, peer groups, and research projects are on your horizon. Learn about concrete strategies and tools for starting to write early, from what kinds of questions to answer when you are reading, to crafting a template for advising meetings - all before you step foot into your new physical and/or Zoom classroom! We will also provide a brief introduction to The Yale Graduate Writing Lab’s suite of programs so you can start your year off with resources, support, and writing and communication guidance in your pocket. Intended Audience: This workshop is geared toward all new GSAS Master’s Degree and PhD students at Yale across all disciplines.
