How can one navigate political topics that inform and infuse classroom environments? How can instructors facilitate respectful and productive discussions on controversial political material? In this workshop, participants will explore how politics manifests in classrooms and labs: through current events; dynamics between professors, instructional staff, and students; accessibility and classroom demographics; and the subjects and methods of our disciplines.
