Event Description
Having students work together collaboratively on course material can improve student engagement, buy-in, and learning outcomes. Challenges may arise without helpful guidelines for students on how to share the responsibilities, collaborate, and resolve differences, particularly across lines often defined by race and other characteristics related to identity and in the remote learning environment. Join the Poorvu Center for a conversation with School of Public Health Lecturer, Marianne Engelman-Lado, and Laura Bozzi, Director of Programs for the Yale Center on Climate Change and Health (YCCCH), as they share how they have supported students in developing effective group dynamics in their co-taught classes.
