“Preparing to share your research with your conference colleagues or a broader audience? Want to think, talk, and present with the clarity and confidence of a polished public speaker? If so, The Graduate Writing Lab’s Spring 2021 Presenting Engagingly Series is here for you! Each session in the Series will offer concrete strategies and tools on how to effectively communicate the story of your research in both your verbal and visual content, and capture and keep your audience’s attention. All levels of presenters are welcome. Intended audience: Scholars presenting their Humanities & Social Science research at any stage. Join us for all or some of the following Sessions: Thursday 1/28: Crafting the Short Story of your Research. . Thursday 2/4: Designing Effective Slides. .
