Want to craft and present a compelling story of your research, engage and retain the interest of your audience, and leave a lasting impression with your figures and slides? If so, The Graduate Writing Lab’s Spring 2022 Presenting Engagingly Series is here for you! Each session in the series will offer concrete strategies and tools on how to effectively communicate the story of your research in both your verbal and visual content, and capture and keep your audience’s attention. All levels of presenters are welcome. Intended Audience: Scholars presenting their humanities and/or social science research at any stage. Join us for all or some of the following sessions: Thursday 1/27: Crafting the Short Story of your Research. Thursday 2/3: Designing Effective Slides. Thursday 2/10: Poster Presentation and Template Development. Thursday 2/17: Conferences from Abstract to Q&A.
