Teaching & Learning Discussion: Supporting and Mentoring Teaching Fellows with Kathryn Miller-Jensen and Lawrence Manley

Event Description

Effectively coordinating a teaching team within a course can be a challenge, especially in the changing contexts of recent semesters. In this session we will discuss ways to ensure that graduate students have the tools and support to effectively promote student learning and inclusion in your course. We will further consider our broader role as mentors for graduate students and how we can support teaching fellows’ development as future educators. Professor Lawrence Manley of English and Associate Professor Kathryn Miller-Jensen of Biomedical Engineering and Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology will kick off the discussion with their own thoughts and practices, and participants are encouraged to come ready to contribute their own questions, challenges, and variations on these practices. — Event Details: https://yaleconnect.yale.edu/rsvp?id=1522749
