Online Experiences for Yale Scholars (ONEXYS) is a bridge program for incoming students.  Students do not get a grade or course credit for participation, therefore the program directors pay attention to student motivation in various ways, including the addition of gameification elements to Canvas to incentivize student participation. Dr. Rolf will talk about these elements, student motivation and learning.
