What makes a good op-ed? If you’ve got an opinion you’re already halfway there! Learn tips and tricks for leveraging both your research and personal background to write compelling, insightful opinion editorials. This workshop covers how to write a lede, grab attention, and structure your opinion piece. We will also discuss aspects of a successful pitch. We will also discuss aspects of a successful pitch. Participants who are just learning about this genre or already have drafts of their writing are welcome to attend, as there will be a follow-up GWL peer review clinic for Blog and Oped Writing on April 30th!
