Event Description 

In this workshop, you will learn about the basic structure of a social sciences dissertation prospectus. We will discuss the introduction, literature review, methodology summary, chapter summary, timeline, and bibliography. We will also hear the experiences of Ph.D. candidates who have successfully written and defended prospectuses at Yale.

Intended Audience: This event is aimed specifically towards students in the social sciences, but some of the information may be applicable to humanites and professional students as well. Invited panelists include: Da’Von Boyd, Departments of Poltical Science and African American Studies; Doris Kwon, Yale School of Management; and Zachary Silver, Department of Psychology
