Office hours can be much more than a place for students to ask last-minute homework questions. When framed intentionally, they can support deeper learning, foster stronger connections, and promote equity by reaching a broader range of students. In this workshop, we will discuss how to effectively communicate to students the purpose and benefit of your office hours and how to use it to enhance the experience of all students. You will learn office hours best practices, and you will leave confident in running your own office hours.
