Event Description

Are you interested in utilizing technology to engage your students? Do you want your students to hear from and learn from one another? Modern technological tools allow instructors to boost student engagement in the classroom in a variety of ways, and allow for many more “voices” to be heard within the classroom. Technology can be leveraged to promote peer-to-peer dialogue and foster a classroom environment in which students work together to construct knowledge. This ATW will focus on strategies, such as the flipped classroom and a variety of platforms including, but not limited to, the Google Suite, Zoom and Canvas, to facilitate peer learning and real-time feedback in the classroom through the directed use of technology. For more information, please contact Nick Fisk  (jeffrey.fisk@yale.edu) and Mac Crite (mac.crite@yale.edu). This ATW counts towards the Poorvu Center’s Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP) requirement for a topic engaging technology.
