Event Description 

If you’re working on a research publication or plan to in the future, then this series is for you! Together we will explore the various stages involved in the scientific writing process, and will offer some practical strategies to help you prepare a strong journal article. Sessions will encompass everything from developing an initial draft to polishing your final manuscript. We will also discuss how to navigate the submission process and respond to reviewers/editors.

Weekly Schedule: - Introductions and How to Start (February 21st). . - Materials/Methods and Results (February 28th). . - Writing Your Discussion Section (March 7th). . - Titles, Abstracts, and Figure Legends (March 28th). . - Submitting and Responding to Editors (April 4th)… . Sessions will take place every Tuesday from 5:00-6:30pm via Zoom, beginning February 7th. While we encourage you to attend all five sessions, we understand that scheduling conflicts may affect your availability.
