Kristina Sanchez Dini
Kristina is the Assistant Director for Educational Technology at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. Kristi’s passion for educational technology began at the University of Oklahoma, where she gained her degree in Foreign Language Education. As a high school teacher, she was intrigued by the shift in student learning outcomes when using technology in the classroom. She decided to further her interest in educational technology by pursuing a Master’s degree in Instructional Psychology and Technology. Her prior position as Director of the Language Learning Center at the University of Oklahoma and Instructional Technologist at the Yale School of Management led her to the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning where she now works with the Educational Technology team to support the LMS, Canvas. Kristina and her colleagues in the Educational Technology team successfully transitioned the University from Sakai to Canvas, awarding them the prestigious Linda K. Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service from the Office of the President at Yale.
Kristina provides technical and pedagogical support in collaboration with faculty to accomplish teaching and learning objectives with appropriate and emerging technology. Using and applying expertise and instructional design principles, Kristina brings a consultative approach to applying educational technology solutions to teaching and learning.
