Michelle Morgan, PhD, works as the university’s Digital Accessibility Specialist, splitting her time between the Center for Teaching and Learning and Information Technology Services’ Digital Accessibility Team. As Digital Accessibility Specialist, she works closely with faculty and faculty support staff to ensure courses and digital course materials are accessible for students with disabilities. In addition to teaching workshops on accessible document creation and remediation, she builds programming and fosters relationships across the university to promote inclusive teaching and learning practices related to accessibility. Prior to this position, she worked in the Center for Teaching and Learning as an Assistant Director on the Educational Technology team. She finished her PhD at Yale in American Studies with a Certificate in WGSS in 2017.
