Osase Omoruyi is a senior at Yale majoring in Astrophysics. Through research programs at Yale University, the California Institute of Technology, and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, she has studied interstellar bubbles and their impact on star formation, the formation of black hole binaries, and star formation in the outer Galaxy. Osase uses the technical skills she has acquired from research, such as coding and working with large sets of data, to work with the STEM Evaluation Team to manage communications materials for the Summer Institutes.
