Poll Everywhere Workshops

Faculty can use Poll Everywhere to engage students in the classroom by transforming the use of electronic devices, identifying learning gaps, and creating an equitable environment. The technology transforms smartphone and laptop devices into teaching tools, allowing students to respond online with a URL or via SMS text message.  Faculty have access to multiple poll types, from multiple-choice to clickable images and word clouds. The tool enables faculty to identify learning gaps by choosing strategic questions to incorporate during a lecture or seminar. The technology also allows faculty to create an inclusive space with anonymous polling.
