“How can I reconcile my introverted personality with a love of teaching?” “How can I structure my discussion section to engage with the more introverted students?” If these are questions you are interested in exploring, join us for Quiet Teaching. In this workshop, we will define the introversion-extroversion spectrum, discuss how personality type influences the way we are perceived by others, and identify the strengths of each personality type. We will draw from the literature studying introversion and extroversion in the context of business to identify key findings that we can apply to the classroom to improve our teaching and the learning of all students. For questions, please contact emma.sundberg@yale.edu [1] or tyler.s.smith@yale.edu [2].
