Are you going to be teaching a course next year? Do you know how your role will change when you transition to being the instructor of record? In this two-part series, we will discuss some of the responsibilities and challenges of teaching a course on your own for the first time. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to think of their own course with the big picture in mind, identify the challenges of moving to a new institution, and envision their own course from the mindset of the professor. For this ATW series, you will generate course documents (e.g. syllabus) between sessions. If you have questions, contact elizabeth.krontiris@yale.edu [1] or larry.bowman@yale.edu [2].
