Are you teaching a section in the humanities for the first time or looking to strengthen your teaching practice? This four-part workshop series is designed to help TFs in the humanities build confidence in the classroom and develop practices of reflection about their teaching. We will discuss how to create an inclusive classroom environment, how to communicate expectations and develop learning goals, how to lead a discussion, grading and feedback, and what skills and tasks are specific to teaching the humanities. We will also devote some time in each session to workshopping and problem-shooting participants’ own experiences in the classroom. For more information, contact sara.misgen@yale.edu [1] or valeriia.mutc@yale.edu [2]. This is the fourth part of a four-part workshop series, running on 9/19, 9/24, 10/1 & 10/8.
