Join us to demystify the process of writing a solid dissertation prospectus in the History! We will discuss the purpose and scope of the prospectus, its relationship to your dissertation, and how to construct some of its major components, such as an introduction, historiography, and chapter summaries. Following an orienting presentation about prospectus writing and some targeted tips from The Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Paul Sabin, we will continue a directed Q&A with a panel of advanced graduate students in History who have been through this process and are willing to share their experiences and words of wisdom.
