Event Description 

Are you currently applying to PhD programs? A crucial component of your application is your statement of purpose. This workshop will present guidelines and provide real examples of statements to analyze and discuss. Topics covered will include: determining your fit with particular departments or programs, narrating your intellectual autobiography through your statement, and describing your proposed research interests.

Intended Audience: This workshop is primarily geared for Masters’ degree and professional school students in the humanities and social sciences, but anyone working on a PhD application is welcome to attend!
