Event Description 

Designing your own course but don’t know where to start? Whether it’s your first time leading your own course or you’re just interested in upskilling your teaching, this two-part Advanced Teaching Workshop will walk you through a step-by-step guide on how to design your course to meet your needs and the needs of your students. We will review fundamental pedagogical principles and practice how to apply them practically to all facets of course design, from outlining learning objectives to designing effective assessments. Come with an idea of a course you might like to teach, and leave with a workable version of that course!
