Are you interested in learning how to foster an equitable and transparent environment in your classroom? Do you want to better understand how the hidden curriculum influences students’ learning and participation? This four-part series will focus on Universal Design for Learning, strategies for creating a supportive and flexible classroom environment, and tools for equitable and transparent assessment. We will define what it means to be equitable, become familiar with the scholarship on equitable teaching, and learn how to apply evidence-based teaching strategies. Participation in at least 3 of these sessions is required for the Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP).
