Is this your first time teaching a class or section in the social sciences? Come explore strategies to help you teach equitably, effectively, and sustainably this semester! This workshop is designed to help instructors in the social sciences build confidence in the classroom, develop concrete pedagogical and critical reflection skills about their teaching practice, and share strategies for equitable and effective teaching – returning TFs are welcome, too! Throughout, we’ll make time to troubleshoot questions and issues that arise in participants’ own teaching. Participating in at least three of the four sessions is required for the Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP).
