Event Description 

Are you planning to submit an NSF GRFP application this fall? In this panel discussion, three Yale faculty members who have reviewed NSF GRFP applications will discuss how the application components are scored and the most common ways applications succeed and fail. Participants are encouraged to submit advance questions for the panelists on the registration form, or ask them during the event. Panelists include: Monkol Leck, Assistant Professor of Genetics Patrick Holland, Conkey P. Whitehead Professor of Chemistry Karsten Heeger, Professor of Physics, Chair of the Physics Department, and Director of the Wright Laboratory. Intended audience: PhD students in the biological, physical, and social sciences who are applying for the NSF GRFP Fellowship, or who may apply in the future.
