Event Description

Do you wonder how you can better accommodate the diverse needs of all of your students? In this workshop, you will learn about the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how to incorporate tenets of UDL into your classrooms. We will unpack the three components of UDL (multiple means of representation, multiple means of expression, and multiple means of engagement) and discuss concrete strategies to apply UDL in your own teaching. For more information, contact Mallory Ellingson (mallory.ellingson@yale.edu) or Rachel Wilson (rachel.wilson@yale.edu).

Please note: Intermediate Teaching Workshops do not presuppose any previous engagement with the topic, but will draw on topics mentioned in the Fundamentals of Teaching/the CIRTL MOOC. For a refresher on key pedagogical terms you may have encountered in the Fundamentals or the CIRTL MOOC, please refer to our glossary: tinyurl.com/PedagogicalGlossary.

This workshop will be held in person.
