In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we tapped into the expertise of Geoffrey Canales and Amanda Valdespino from the Yale Poorvu to bring you six essential tips on staying focused and motivated in your online learning journey.

Amanda Valdespino is Educational Developer & Accessibility Specialist, helping faculty integrate learner-centered approaches to best support all students, especially using universal design for learning and equity-minded teaching practices. Geoffrey Canales is Assistant Director of Disability and Neurodiversity for Office of Educational Opportunity, a joint effort of the Poorvu Center and Yale College. In this role, he leads the Disability Peer Mentor Program.
