About Undergraduate Academic Strategies

Located on the Mezzanine (upstairs), the Academic Strategies Program aims to help all Yale undergraduates to be active, empowered learners in their academic lives at Yale. Peer Mentors—juniors, seniors, and grad students—understand the pressures and confusions of academic undergraduate life. They are trained to listen to a student’s concerns, find strengths to build on, and adapt common academic strategies to a student’s particular learning style and goals. The program also offers a series of workshops across campus. The academic strategies program director is located on the first floor, but peer mentors meet on the mezzanine.
