Oliver Lucier
Graduate School Student
Oliver Lucier is a sixth year PhD candidate in the History of Science & Medicine Program at Yale University. As an environmental historian of the US and the world, his research focuses on the co-production of climate science and US global environmental policy during the long twentieth century.
Before arriving at Yale, Oliver graduated from Rice University with a BA in History and a a BS in Earth Science and from Durham University with an MA in Geography with Distinction.
Oliver is very passionate about teaching. He has served as teaching fellow in the history of science program and has designed and taught a seminar on the history of climate change.
