ATW: How We Learn (2 sessions)

Event Description

Cognitive psychology and other fields constantly provide evidence that refines and improves our understanding of how learners absorb and process information. Drawing upon this research, this two-part workshop explores strategies for optimizing learning–attending to both how we can foster a conducive learning environment for our students and how to develop iterative habits that will sustain us throughout our careers as pedagogues. This is a two-part workshop, meeting on 2/27 and 3/5 (3 - 4:30pm). Please contact Yasmeen Asali (yasmeen.asali@yale.edu) or Nathan Smith (nathan.smith@yale.edu) for more information.… . This workshop will be held in person… . . ATWs are designed as deeper dives on a given topic. This two-session ATW is especially relevant for participants who want to experience a sustained engagement with cognitive pyschology and its relationship to pedagogy. — Event Details: https://yaleconnect.yale.edu/rsvp?id=2261789
