Event Description

How and when do we discuss religion and spiritual belief in the classroom? This ATW focuses on the explicit and implicit role religion plays in the classroom, for individual students and for the classroom environment. You will be invited to consider how your discipline approaches religion, and how to develop a supportive environment and framework for students to engage in productive and often personal conversations about belief. For more information, contact sara.misgen@yale.edu and malena.rice@yale.edu. This ATW counts toward the Poorvu Center’s Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP) requirement for a “topic engaging inclusivity or diversity.”
