Event Description

Are you interested in learning teaching strategies that consider students’ diverse backgrounds, prior experience, and preferences? Do you want to learn how “the hidden curriculum” influences students’ learning and participation? This four-part, in-person workshop series will help you think comprehensively about what inclusivity means, and how to develop and incorporate inclusive teaching in your classroom. We will cover topics such as accessible course design, creating supportive learning environments, and tools for equitable and transparent assessment. If you would like more information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Ketty Munyenyembe (ketty.munyenyembe@yale.edu) and Emily Theus (emily.theus@yale.edu).

This four-part series will meet in person in the Poorvu Center, Room 120A on 10/7, 10/14, 10/28, and 11/4.
