Event Description
Are you interested in learning teaching strategies that consider diverse backgrounds, prior experience and student learning preferences? Do you want to know how to create an equitable and transparent environment? And how “the hidden curriculum” influences students’ learning and participation? This four-part series will include information on the universal design for learning, strategies for creating a respectful and supportive classroom environment, and tools for equitable and transparent assessment of all types of students. The workshop will help you think more comprehensively about what inclusivity means, and to develop and incorporate inclusive teaching in your classroom. Contact Angelica Clayton (angelica.clayton@yale.edu) and Nick Fisk (jeffrey.fisk@yale.edu) for more information.
