2019 Canvas Lightning Talks:
Strategies for Inclusivity and Engagement
The 2019 Canvas @ Yale Lightning Talks was held on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning in Sterling Memorial Library. This event is an annual event providing the opportunity for educators and support staff to share with their peers and show how they use and support Canvas.
The Canvas @ Yale Lightning Talks are comprised of ten-minute presentations given by faculty and staff using and supporting Canvas. The full agenda for the 2019 Lightning Talks can be found in the "Downloads" area of this page.
This year, the format of the Canvas @ Yale Lightning Talks was modified slightly. The event was from 11am to 1pm and included 4 ten-minute, lightning style presentations followed by lunch and a "resource fair" where attendees chatted with presenters and learned more about the tools discussed in the presentations.
For more information about Canvas, access our help documentation, and get support (workshops and one-on-one consultations) please visit our Canvas @ Yale Support Page.
