Alfred Guy
Alfred E. Guy Jr. closely manages writing programs for Yale College students, including the Writing Partners & the Residential College Writing Tutors. He also has a hand in QR & Science tutoring programs for Yale undergraduates. Outside the Poorvu Center, he is the R.W.B. Lewis Director of Writing for Yale College and serves as an Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs. Guy teaches classes about science fiction, gender studies, and happiness, and regularly does committee work for Yale College Admissions, for fellowship selection in the Center for International and Professional Experience, and for the University Wide Committee on Sexual Misconduct. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in English from New York University and his A.B. in English from Harvard.
