Amanda Murphy
Amanda Murphy is a video producer and editor at Yale Broadcast Studio. In her role, Amanda brings her experience in traditional film and television production together with modern digital media techniques to best disseminate Yale’s expertise in new and engaging ways.
In her time at Yale so far, Amanda has worked on a variety of ambitious and exciting projects, including working closely with the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning’s Digital Education team to amp up Yale Online’s social media presence with engaging video and photo content. She was also proud to work on Laurie Santos’s new Coursera course, “The Science of Well Being for Teens,” which aims to bring her popular online course to a new audience and get teens to feel better and build healthier habits.
Amanda graduated from Emerson College in December 2019 with a degree in Media Arts Production, with concentrations in cinematography and video editing, and a minor in Environmental Studies.
Outside of Yale, Amanda is an avid photographer and enjoys collecting and building LEGO.
