On the Educational Program Assessment Team, Ankita helps to implement assessment and evaluation processes for programs led or supported by the Poorvu Center. This includes contributing to the implementation, analysis, and reporting of evaluation and assessment projects targeting teaching and learning initiatives across the institution. Ankita received her PhD in Neuroscience from Yale in 2022, where she focused on researching behavioral strategies and neural computations influencing animals’ odor detection in the wild. During her time in graduate school, Ankita was committed to supporting student learning through teaching and outreach efforts. She served as a Lead Coordinator on Yale’s Brain Education Day. Developing and running the event since 2017, Ankita has opened STEM access to hundreds of local New Haven high school students.
