Nicholas is a sixth-year PhD student in Microbiology studying how ribosomes, the fundamental cellular machinery required for making proteins, are made. Nicholas received his BS in Biology from Providence College in 2011. Since coming to Yale, Nicholas has had the opportunity to serve as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine for three years, an experience he credits with inspiring him to help others with their writing, presentation, and communication skills. This is Nicholas’ first year as a Graduate Writing Fellow.
