Dr. Paula Rawlins serves as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Writing and Tutoring at the Yale Poorvu Center. Dr. Rawlins was most recently Assistant Director of the Writing & Media Center at Iowa State University, and, before that, Assistant Director of the University of Georgia Writing Center. She received her Ph.D. in English from UGA with a focus on Southern literature, and has more than 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring writing at the college level. At the Poorvu Center, Paula will supervise the Undergraduate Writing Partners, one of two programs that provides writing tutors for students in Yale College.
