Thank you for your interest in using the space at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. All requests to use the Poorvu Center for meetings and other non-course related activities are based on availability of the rooms and other activities planned at the Poorvu Center that week. We will consider all requests for the use of the Poorvu Center, however, meetings that include elements of teaching and learning will receive strong priority.
To learn more about the spaces we have available for use, please click here. Please note that our smaller rooms (Rooms 116A – D) are for Poorvu Center staff and fellows use only.
If you are interested in using our space for teaching a course, please use this form instead. If you are interested in using the TEAL Classroom at 17 Hillhouse for your meeting or event, please make your request through 25Live.
Please note that you are expected to bring your own technological equipment when utilizing the Poorvu Center rooms (e.g. Mac laptop adaptors, presentation advancers/clickers, power adapters).
~Summer 2020 Requests: We are currently not accepting any summer requests for use of space on campus.
~Fall 2020 Requests: We are awaiting further guidance from Yale, and are currently unable to make decisions, honor or approve any classroom requests at this time.
Please provide at least two full business weeks for review of your request.
