What would you like to do?
With up to 4 studio microphones and remote capabilities, we’ll record your lecture or interview, edit it to your specifications, and help you get it published on platforms like Apple and Spotify.
Were you asked to appear as a remote guest on a podcast or live radio show but don’t have the right equipment to record from home? Ask the podcast producer who booked you to email Ryan.McEvoy@yale.edu and all you’ll have to do is come to the studio and sit behind the microphone, we’ll handle the rest.
The studio was updated in 2024 to include 3 cameras and customizable backdrops to allow for full length or social media-sized video podcasting.
We are available to coach you through reading your audiobook or narration for a video or slideshow.
The resources at the Teaching Studios have helped professionalize our podcast/video series and working with Ryan has helped everything run smoothly. We can focus on the content of the work since production is handled efficiently and with expert care.

The podcast studio comfortably fits hosts and guests in a designed space equipped for audio and video recording.

The host looks at the reference monitor to help deliver her virtual interview.

The producer sits in the control room making sure everything about the interview runs smoothly.

The host and guest appear side-by-side in a video podcast recorded in our studio.
Self-Service
The Poorvu Center Recording Studio is ideal for students’ course projects and for faculty recording high-quality audio independently.
Full Service
Approved podcast projects are backed by a team of experts and receive project management, technical help, and marketing support.
