Ali is Poorvu Center Fellow on the Educational Program Assessment team. He supports incorporating data into the process of educational program development and contributes his perspective on information management to the ongoing work of the center. Ali is particularly interested in data analysis and continuing to learn about new methods for exploring and applying these ideas. He joined the Poorvu Center in 2025 and has worked at Yale since 2024.
Before Yale, Ali received his BA in Analytics and Information Management from the University of Connecticut. Previous to joining the Poorvu Center, Ali had an internship at Yale’s Center for British Art where he explored how to merge data processing with the ongoing culture of the center. Ali is also a New Haven Promise Scholar, which has connected him to opportunities throughout Yale.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys rock climbing, music and playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family. Despite living in New Haven for most of his life, Ali still continues to uncover new activities the city has to offer.
