Jasmine Taylor is the Assistant Director of Digital Education at the Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. Since starting in November 2022, she has blended creativity and strategy to manage Yale Online’s communication channels. Jasmine develops engaging social media content, keeps online.yale.edu updated with course catalogs, news, testimonials, and resources, and creates quarterly newsletters to connect with diverse audiences. She also collaborates with schools and departments across Yale, consulting on marketing strategies for both degree and non-degree programs.
Before Yale, Jasmine worked as a Senior Social Media Strategist at Zero Gravity Marketing, designing and implementing customized social media strategies to meet client goals. Prior to that, she was a Communications Coordinator at the University of Saint Joseph, where she supported marketing efforts for recruitment, public relations, advancement, and advertising while crafting dynamic social media content.
Jasmine holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a focus on Advertising and Promotions from Southern Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Sacred Heart University.
Outside of work, Jasmine is a portrait photographer who loves capturing meaningful moments that tell a story, an extension of her passion for creating content that resonates. Whether traveling, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or relaxing at home with her cat, she finds inspiration everywhere, which fuels her creative approach to shaping Yale Online’s digital presence.
