Jennifer is an Assistant Director in the Poorvu Center’s Teaching Development and Initiatives team. She is particularly interested in topics related to STEM pedagogy, inclusive and equitable teaching, and working with graduate students and postdocs as current and future instructors.
Jennifer joined the Poorvu Center in July 2024 after 2.5 years at Caltech, where she was the Program Manager for Graduate Teaching at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach. At Caltech, she oversaw graduate student programming, including administering the graduate teaching certificate, training teaching assistants, and developing and teaching a new course on inclusive teaching in STEM.
She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and her B.A. in Biology from Harvard University.
